I can't really blame them. You aren't obligated to be excited by every signing we make. We've had our fair share of elderly journeymen strikers just in the past decade - Stern John, Marlon Harewood, Patrick Agyemang to name a few - until Wilbraham, the only one I think worked out is Adebola.

Boy do I wish we still had a 32 year old Adebola though.

I'm not sure tactics have much to do with it. I think it's more fear and lack of self belief that has killed us in previous games
