That thread is psychologically disturbing, I swear they all have stockholm syndrome or something. Or maybe a mass delusion brought about by the combination of out of date food and exposure to continuous long ball and bullsh1t.

Apparently the snake is a shameless back stabber because he wanted to progress his career...

#gaslogic

Presumably MT was part of the Dubai trip? If he'd stayed with the sad sags, he'd have made it to Downend....

That thread has taken a new twist, apparently City are guilty of tapping up the player, offering him a financial package to enter in to an exclusivity agreement and the Snake deliberately left it 'till the last minute to sign.

All of which, if true, would have come out after they went crying to the FA.

Reality is, his release clause was common knowledge, we couldn't have spoken to the player or agent until we had agreed a deal with Rovers and if any other clubs had come in for him, his agent would have been delighted as he would have been able to negotiate a better package. Reality is, no other clubs bid for him.

As for the timing... if Rovers knew they could lose their best player for 300k and didn't have a contingency in place the fewers need to ask questions of the club.

Idiots.

I would laugh my head off if the club sued some of these idiots for defamation.

Haha, like that would ever happen! :laughcont:

No, they’d rather sit around and come up with ridiculous conspiracy theories about Lansdown doing it to stop them getting promoted...as if it’s somehow embarrassing to us if some two bit, tinpot outfit gets lucky and finds themselves in the Championship for a season. For ***** sake, we were bottom of L1 not that long ago below the likes of Colchester, Stevenage and Orient..

They can’t accept that in our position last January a L1 striker with 20 goals under his belt and a VERY low pricetag is something that would naturally appeal to us. They didn’t have anything in place because they’re run like a circus. They probably hoped that Dopey would had put everyone off with his talk of only accepting £10 million.

Always the victims though, they should ask why their billionaire owners don’t pay higher wages?

It would appear the ex chief methane snorter Skeletor has been sacked by QPR and replaced by Schteeve McClaren.

That would be, how do you say??? - a major mistake

Course it didn’t bother them....that’s why they are still spitting bile nearly 16 months after the transfer took place! Can’t remember us doing the same when Steve Phillips went the other way in 2006.....

Always makes me laugh when it’s bought up about Phillips signing for the Gas, remember him all flashy in his Porsche whilst here with his STOPP4 (something like that) number plate, signs for the pikeys and has to flog it, next thing he’s driving around in a mini :laughcont:

One of the funnier parts of the transfer was that they told us to do one when we triggered the release clause and we had to remind them how these things work!

They must have taken legal advice from the same solicitors that drew up their Sainsbury`s contract.
