Least of their problems. I think they're erecting it in the wrong place, surely it should have gone behind the terracing to add to the capacity. It lessens the capacity where it is at the moment. Wouldn't put it past them to have cocked it up.
BTRFTG
Less bothered by the tent than, should my pixels not deceive me, what appears to be Hitler admiring his handiwork from the front row. BobBobSuperBob
To be fair I Wonder if Steve had a whole host of major problems to overcome when planning the Lansdown Stand A stand can’t be placed behind the terrace for the same reason as the family stand wasn’t able to as it would block access for people standing on the terrace therefore creating a health and safety risk, putting the stand on the terrace would only serve to lower capacity. The only conceivable way the away capacity can be improved is to extend the south stand all the way across the pitch and give the extra block to away fans. Even this may not be possible however as Wael said a year or two ago that the reason it hasn’t been extended is because their are cables, a screen and an advertising billboard in the way. Tom Gorring isn’t daft, he would have looked to increasing away capacity as a means of increasing revenue and the fact that as of yet nothing hasn’t been done suggests it isn’t possible. Guest
Wael said staying at the Mem wasn't at all feasible - surprisingly it now is the only feasible option unless someone bails him out... By that rational, is it safe to assume that literally nothing is “possible”..?
