(maths calculation - a billionaire is 1,000 times richer than a millionaire, Steve is 2,500 times richer than a millionaire, ergo £12m divided by 2500 = £4,800.00

Technical point. The Americans consider one billion to be 1,000 million. In UK financial accounting, one billion is a million million.

Top four of all time;

3, 200 for the final game at Eastville

Relegated from the football league.

Avoiding relegation from the football league thanks to Hitler

Selling Eastville to the dog racing company and pocketing the cash.  :gasmask:

I believe it was 3,570 or so. Three thousand, five hundred and seventy odd. There were that many in the East End alone for it's last hurrah in 2014 v Crewe (total attendance that day: 14, 477).

Hasn't been mentioned in a while, but... who can forget one of the deluded claiming - on relegation from League One - that they would be the...

Barcelona of League Two.

There are, of course, two teams in Barcelona. The one everyone knows and the other, RCD Espanyol.  I can understand why Rovers want to associate themselves with RCD, as the club hold a record that no other La Liga team can claim. Espanyol has played more La Liga seasons without winning a league title than any other team.

That genuinely looks like nothing so much as my local tip.

I particularly like the way that they have reused the sign from somewhere else (see slots for fittings) and not even bothered to attempt to mount it on what looks like a Portakabin, as I hesitate to call it a building, but just stood it on the floor instead.

I would call it amateurish but its plumbing new depths below that.  Shambolic maybe.

Why does the sign even say ‘Matchday Club Shop’ then ‘Bristol Rovers ➡️

Who else’s club shop could it possibly be that it needs pointing out??

Think Girona are classed as a Barca team.

Haven’t they ‘partnered’ up with probably the least successful and scummiest team based in the Barcelona region, FC Sabadell?

I believe these no-hopers also don da famous blue and white quarterz

I can only imagine it`s for the benefit of visiting supporters who, upon seeing it have been heard to remark `That can`t be it can it? It must be a shop for some parks side or other - it`s never one for a league club.`

I can`t imagine what comments there would be once they walk a little further and are confronted by Santa`s Grotto.
