Memorial garden/buy a brick update please

Update on the Supporters Bar and how much BS are going to give us to help us redecorate after the contractors used it as a mess room.

Supporters bar was discussed extensively at the last SCAT - the minutes will likely provide details.

Ooh on topic. Can you ask how much the shirts cost BS to make and how much net profit they make on them?

Thought the whole point of BS making them was to cut out the middle man (Adidas, Puma etc) and make shirts a bit cheaper.

FOR COMPARISON:

PNE has theirs made by Nike. Adult shirts were £45 or £30 in the end of season sale.

Barnsley has theirs made by Puma. Can't find an adult shirt but a junior shirt cost £38 or £20 in the end of season sale.

QPR had theirs made by Dryworld. An adult shirt was £46.99 or just £10 in the end of season sale.

I find it ludicrous that we charge the same price as a big brand such as Nike and we don't do a sale at the end of the season.

Just to play devil's advocate.....

These clubs....

Do they give away free shirts with already competitively prices kids season tickets and are they committed to a bulk order at the start of the season meaning they are sitting on redundant stock? And do their tickets holders get between 5% and 20% off based on their tickets?

Valid question, but would kind of defeat the original question, if it meant other supporters were subsidising any shortfall

@Blagdon red

Is this happening still this Sunday?

  1. End-of-season awards, Hall of Fame III

It was agreed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the final game of 1976/77 and induct the remaining 9 members (who are not already in the HOF) of the promotion winning squad. We re-affirmed the intention to hold the presentations after the final home game on the Lansdown concourse.

As we're offering the whole Atyeo to away fans next season. £20 is plenty would see it fuller than ever. More away fans buying food and drink, as well as improving the atmosphere.

Yesterday proved if it is priced correctly people will come and fill the ground - would have thought any money lost on cheaper admission but be covered by additional sales around the ground??

Said that for years.

Price it right and they will come.

If we take away the away team tickets (4000) and the number of ST holders (13,000ish) that would mean 8000 were sales. Say 50% kids 50% adults. Say we only do 2000 sales on a normal game with the same percentages. 6000 extra tickets sold. I estimate around £50k extra revenue on tickets alone yesterday. That's before you include increased revenue for food/drink/merch.

5 games a season priced down for a full house would be £250k. That's nearly a whole Matty Taylor...

Plus sales at kiosks and in the shop would surely offset extra stewarding costs if not also provide more for the BCFC kitty.

FAN minutes announced...

BS dodged additional question about end of season sale... May have to rock up to the next FAN/SC&T meeting and ask myself... won't allow a politician style answer either!

On a serious note, we need more female reps for these meetings. I'm the only girl on the FAN at the moment. There are spaces as well given we had two resign as reps at the FAN 2 weeks ago.

Are you hinting at something?
