Edgbaston allowed to be at 72% capacity for each day with 18,000 people in attendance of the test as latest pilot event..... compared to the 10,000 total allowed for championship play off event in Wembley

Yeah that makes sense...

It's because they got the data back from the first test events and it was good, so attendances are allowed to increase.   Bears are allowed nearly 7k in for next game.

PO Final allocations/sale was already decided before the data came out unforunately.

Surely they could have quickly ramped it up? Hosting at Wembley isn't an issue and clubs probably had reserve lists in case extra tickets became available.

A mate and I have tickets for that and will be going, weather permitting.

Bracey in? Billings has been called up as well breaking the no IPL player idea. Interested as to who the next glovesman would have been after Buttler, Bairstow, Bracey, Billings and Foakes.

I've heard Bracey will keep for England this week. Great news for Glos fans and thoroughly deserved for the dirty gashead.

I'd like to see Hameed come straight in for either Sibley or Burns. Burns has more form right now, though.

So what does Overton have to do to get an international call up? Apparently Robinson will be picked Wednesday and Sky Sports News reporting if England go for a 4th seamer its between Wood and Stone for the last spot, why's Craig even been picked if he has no chance of making the XI? Craig's been completely dominant at county level over the last 2 seasons, more than likely will be picked to go to Australia but seems like he'll struggle to get games before going out there.

Play for Surrey?

Well Robinson being a Sussex player, they haven't had many over the last decade or so

The annoying part is despite probably getting nowhere near the squad he probably won't be released to play for Somerset and instead will have to be on drinks duty with 2 bowlers infront of him if an injury/concussion/covid occurred

Looks like a debut for Gloucestershire’s James Bracey. Very good batting average and bats 3 for Gloucestershire. Good luck to him .

Glos and Gas?

But in all seriousness, the very best of luck to him. Some achievement, his family and Winterbourne CC must be proud.

Hard to know if what they will do tomorrow without a natural all rounder in the squad. I hope they are brave pick Overton at 7 so they have 5 bowlers and can then pick Broad and Anderson.

1. Sibley

2. Burns or Crawley

3. Bracey

4. Root

5. Pope

6. Lawrence

7. Overton

8. Leach

9. Robinson

10. Broad

11. Anderson

They will be worried about that tail though

Think Bracey will bat at 7, four bowlers without Overton and then Burns, Crawley and Sibley top 3

My guess, pretty much what you've said at the bottom

  1. Burns
  2. Sibley
  3. Crawley
  4. Root
  5. Pope
  6. Lawrence
  7. Bracey
  8. Robinson
  9. Leach
  10. Broad
  11. Anderson

I really don’t like the lack of an all rounder in there. Surely it’s not Stokes or nobody.

Depends what you count as all rounder, Robinson has average of 38 this season (1 not out) and 2 fifties. England didn't pick another genuine all rounder, guess the closest would have been Higgins but probably not eye catching enough with the ball for England, they thought Craig Overton was too slow.

Get down the M4/5 quick time Craig, **** em.

The joys of the bubble, they can't leave in case they're picked for the 2nd test. Seems a bit silly cricket is the only sport really operating with a bubble anymore seemingly.
