Northern Red Posted July 27, 2021 Report Share Posted July 27, 2021 As long as it's practical I can see it being pushed back a year, there's another T20 WC in Australia next winter so just follow on from that. Obviously it would involve a fair bit of rescheduling for both teams, but better that than a weakened contest involving a rotated England team who don't really want to be there. Well they were allowed their families over there so its irrelevant really, its because of Australia's strict Covid policies as to whose allowed in, India doesn't have it so doesn't apply. I'm not sure Root feels the same Kid, near the end of his last spell in the test team, he couldn't tie an end down, but now I'd prefer him to a couple of part timers ..
