Hang on, someone has made a mistake and accidentally added a Glos player! He must be moving to one of the "big" counties then. :)

England have named their team a day early. Crawley, Bairstow, Wood and Leach in for Burns, Pope, Woakes and Broad.

Dropped Woakes? Hasn’t had his best spell of bowling but none of them have.

I’d have Woakes in there every day of week.

It's gone beyond an embarrassment. There is apathy in the public and cricket fans alike which threatens the future of test cricket in the current times if England cannot even compete against the good nations.

At the very least the ashes remaining five tests has to be in some doubt, certainly in Australia. What is the point? Every four years England fail to even compete? How will people remain interested in a five tests of a one sided mismatch.

The SCG, one of the most famous grounds in the world. When did it last have a live Test Match when England are touring?
