Over rate and entertainment are not mutually exclusive. It’s possible to have both. If fans are paying over £100 for tickets should they just accept losing 15-20% of the game? Test match cricket needs to help itself as it has stiff competition with other forms of the game. Teams used to bowl 14-15 overs an hour and now they bowl 11-12. Could not agree more. England were shocking yesterday even with Leach bowling a lot of overs.
