The Aussies have been in control of both tests by the end of the first day with both bat and ball and after losing and winning the toss!

That's shite! *

*come on cricket gods, prove me wrong tomorrow ?

Despite my comment, I see you’re going tomorrow and I’m very jealous!

I was at the MCG 4 years ago, haven’t recovered from the trauma of celebrating Tom Curran get Warner out for 99 only for a no ball to be called as he trudged off

Dropping catches has nothing to do with the rub of the green

Just poor cricket

You haven't read my post properly, I said we didn't get the rub of the green, even the Aussie commentators kept saying it.

With that often is followed by other things going wrong like dropped catches bad bowling etc. One follows the other.

Boxing day. I remember it, was there myself. 1 early wicket then we had to endure Warner and smith batting all day. Ruined the tick on my bucket list.

Am I right in thinking that on day 2 the wickets fell like dominoes?

Bowled reasonably well early but didn't make the most of the scoreboard pressure. Looked very inspid from about 30 overs on.

If the plan was to use a bowler as the bouncer Im not sure why we'd leave the fastest bowler out of the side?

We need 3 wickets in the first hour tomorrow. Otherwise the 40c heat will make bowling very difficult.

I'm a pessimist. Could quite easily see Aus declaring on about 450 and us being 30/3 at stumps.

Still. The grounds pretty as always?.

My memory is failing me but that sounds about right. Saw Cook get a double ton on day 3/4, only match we didn’t lose that series.

decent start today!
