Apologies if posted elsewhere, but has anyone else spotted the Oxford badge inside the new away shirts?

Anyone else who's got one, does yours have it too?

I'd laugh if I didn't want to cry.

Institutional incompetence seems to be alive and well at AG.

Bit over the top.

The manufacturer of our kit must be the same as Oxfords and they've cocked up. Can't see any issues with incompetence at AG because of this...

That being said it is funny and a bit awkward.

I thought we manufactured our own kits? Hence the reason why we got away from the mainstream of Puma, Nike & Puma etc.

Or are we farming it out to some Indonesian sweat shop that makes kits for everyone?

Hilarious! Proper made me laugh.

Classic City.

Fwiw, Oxford's is made by www.starter.com whom normally specialise in American sportswear (e.g. NFL) so I'm guessing it's a balls up elsewhere at a label makers like @BrightCiderLife said.

We do make our own kit but expect we outsource for the badge, logos, label etc.

@AdamB @Mkelly you might want to check the stock in the shop fellas!!! :laughcont:

Naively, I would like to think that they are made in Blighty. But yes, I must be naive!

It's previously been suggested they're made in Scotland.

The Bristol Sport online shop refers to the 'Vision size chart' which would suggest a possible connection to Vision Outsourcing... http://visionos.co.uk/

There's a quote from City's former commercial director confirming that City have worked with Vision Outsourcing (and Oxford have too!)... http://thewhitelabelsolution.co.uk/oxford-united/ & http://thewhitelabelsolution.co.uk/bristol-sport/

I'm pretty sure SL never set up a kit making factory, we may have kept designs in house, but the production of the shirts would always be outsourced as its much cheaper

We wouldn't be actually manufacturing them ourselves. SL would need to build/purchase a kit manufacturing plant and all the employees that would be needed to run it, purely for producing Bristol Sport products. Would be highly inefficient and uneconomical.

Call me a 'Bristol sport hater' but I'd absolutely love to go back to a Adidas/Puma kit. You can feel how cheap the quality of these shirts have been for the last few seasons. Feel like Sondico or something you'd get for £4 a shirt in Sports Direct.
