From what I understand; we don't want to sell, but he has admirers and is open to seeing what is out there.

That being considered, I think making any big assumptions either way (i.e. if he plays or doesn't) means very little.

Four first choice centre backs isn't unusual, especially if we will sometimes play three at the back.  If we lose someone, I think either Moore or Vyner will stay in the first team squad, otherwise both go on loan.

Baker's transfer should show how quickly things can suddenly go from rumour to fact.

Yeah definitely. Just meant I don't think there's anything concrete on the table now as if there was a big money fee already agreed that the club were happy with then can't see we'd risk the deal. Will still be fairly surprised if he's here come 1st Sep.

When LJ says he's had no bids, from what I've been told; that's true.

But discussing what a player is worth isn't a bid, and unlike saying "not for sale at any price" we are not adverse to selling him, if our valuation is met.

That Baker is now on board, I'm more convinced he'll go, simply because of my 'Source' - a very knowledgeable Leeds fan who gives zero shits about spreading rumours and has been laser accurate before on who they were bringing in.

I personally hope Flint stays, but I feel he may be more interested in trying something new than we are in keeping him, especially while his value is relatively high.
