Davefevs
Bryan Gunn, Ebbe Sand, Danny and Matthew Rose would need a little patience to form a partnership. Martin Peters and Colin Lee would be welcomed home to any club. Uwe Fuchs and Dino Zoff didn't stay long enough to be a good pairing.

Dastardly and Muttley
Not football, but my NFL team currently have players called Long and Cox who play alongside each other. Equally, Long and Johnson. Best bit is that Long plays on the wordplay so is always photographed standing next to one or the other at training sessions.
