Mr Popodopolous
Colleague told me earlier in the week. Think I remember something about it last year also. Anyone let out at 4 today then? Doubt it's all that common...but was anyone lucky enough to be let out at 4? Apparently it's a thing though- albeit a thing for which most bosses didn't get the memo? Mr Popodopolous
Quick google search on this theme, also indicated something called "POETS Day" (Piss Off Early Tomorrow's Saturday Day) What's that then? Thing of the past I assume.

Mr Popodopolous
5.30 as per for me. If I had been set free to the pub at 4 I wouldn't be posting on here right now. I suspect the beneficaries will generally be public sector, by which I mean back office and local government as opposed to front line, cushy jobs like varied head office roles usually in London and South East and sectors like charity. So it's your own fault

Mr Popodopolous
This thing is same principle as work at home Fridays. Apparently lots of people do it...don't know anyone down here who does Public sector, charity sector, councils, South East/London based head offices or luvvies I dare say...certainly nobody where I work does.
