Manor Farm are away to Paulton Rovers today. I live in the village, local ref has inspected the pitch and deemed it "unplayable". Match referee has not accepted decision and is travelling to make his own. It is still raining, really can't see game going ahead. Perhaps match referee wants his fee, as I believe if he attends Paulton will still have to pay him even if he calls game off.

Ta, not surprised.  I really struggle to understand how some of these teams survive, it’s boom firva couple of seasons, then bust.  Shame.  Was the FA Cup "glory" worth it?  Or has it destroyed a bit if what made Shortwood what it was?

No we will always have those cup memories, especially beating Aldershot away in the previous round was incredible. The club will rebuild and go again with a dedicated group of helpers behind the scenes but probably never to this level.

Manor Farm have been fantastic to watch this season. New to Bristol and very impressed by their level of football.

Edit: Also, they still have a standard, overweight lazy number 9 who scores bangers. Always fun.

Dean stamp, great guy and a good footballer who probably would have made it to a bigger stage with good fitness and desire.

The future is bright for manor farm, wouldn't be surprised to see them in the top 6 next season and pushing for promotion

Step 4 Promotion - 2017/2018

19 teams will be promoted from Step 4 this season. The relevant section from the FA regulations is below:

Nineteen Clubs will be promoted from Step 4 comprising of the twelve Clubs finishing in 1st and 2nd position in each division, together with the highest ranked 3rd place Club on the basis of points per game during the Playing Season plus six further Clubs determined by a series of Play Off Matches.

Below you can therefore see the 24 Step 4 teams who are in the play-off places, ranked by "points per game"

As things stand, Scarborough Athletic will be promoted automatically, with Tadcaster Albion taking part in the play-offs instead

BMF are in 16th spot, so looking good. I see Heybridge Swifts are in 18th spot. Anyone on here go when City played them in the FA Cup some years back?

A certain Ben foster on the bench for city that day i believe!
