Admin Ian M Posted September 19, 2017 Admin Report Share Posted September 19, 2017 I've said it in other posts but LJ's approach has changed from our opening run of games in August and the latest set since the international break. Before the break he definitely had a preferred XI that he tried to stick to in all starting line ups, we played reasonably, were hard to beat but were a little draw heavy. Since the break ended Johnson has changed mindset to make 2 or 3 changes to the starting XI to keep the team fresh, we are still hard to beat but with more of a winners' look to us. As each week goes by I think LJ is feeling more and more confident with the amount of players he has that can step into our starting XI and play the system we use well, keeping energy levels high, so important with the intensity we are trying to play with. Before the break: WWLDDWD After the break: WWDW Results like tonight, not only give LJ confidence in the ability of fringe members to step into the XI on any given match day but also increase the confidence of ALL of our squad that the way LJ wants us to play is going to be successful. If we can make 9 changes and dominate a PL team, the squad will believe they can beat anyone in the championship. Roll on Norwich!
