The Official Bristol City v Bolton Wanderers Match Day Thread 10

Recommended Posts

Everyone knows we're gonna lose this one, right? It's football, it's what happens. Especially when it's Bristol City*. Unexpected wins and draws against all those proper teams - the ones that kick it well - showing the world that we're dark horses, or contenders, or "up there with the best", and then lose to bottom of the league Bolton who haven't won in 29 away Championship games.

It happens to England, it happened against Birmingham, and it'll happen tonight.

All that said, I'm obviously still backing us to win, 'cos it's football. @ollywhyte, I was writing too much nonsense & missed the lock so am not expecting points, but claim the moral high ground if this comes in:

City 3-1 Bolton

FGS: O'Dowda (22') - #Finally #Hashtag. Scrappy, but he loves it.

Others: Reid (38') - Lays it off to Paterson, spins off his marker on the edge of the box, receives the return ball and smashes it in the roof of the net. Or, you know, a tap in.

Bryan (60') - He's due one, probably. It'll be a screamer, too.

Wilbraham (86') - 'Cos it'll be nice, won't it?

HT: 2-0

Fixtur3s

Dortmund v Real Madrid (A)

Exeter v Notts County (D)

Cardiff v Leeds (D)

*Insert any other team who one follows closely. Every football supporter feels this way about their team. It's football.

Evening all!   I think as long as we play as we have been,  we should get 3 points tonight, but as others have said here,  we must not think it will be easy, there are no easy games in this league.  So boys make sure you keep pressing, get your shooting boots on and keep Bolton on the back foot,  2 - 0 to City.  COYR's

Bit nervous about tonight. We have a habit of shooting ourselves in the foot. Hopefully we will continue our good form though and come away with a resounding victory. COYR!

This is a good opportunity to show the fans that those days (apart from the odd inevitable slip up that every team has) are well and truly behind us.
