Wanderingred
Would be gutted if Italy don't make it through. I'll be here during the world cup and it would suck without some local football fever.
Garland-sweden
They are all over us, and we look already tired. Defence and fight second half. Really hope we can make it.

Midlands Robin
Just turned the Italy game on in time to see a Swedish player knee an Italian in the guts. Ouch. Nothing from the Ref for that?

Qantas chartered a direct jet back to Australia, exclusively for the team and their coaching staff. Economy was set up as a treatment room. This is a device that mimics daylight and transitions the players back to the Australian time zone without jet lag. The net gain of all of this is the Australian team will arrive in Sydney fully revived and over 24 hours before the Honduran team who had to fly commercial economy with quite a few stop overs. The second leg is on Wednesday night in Sydney. I hope the FA can see this. Despite the large shades you can clearly see bruising around both eyes. Mr Popodopolous
22 shots on goal, zero goals... At least people can't say they were defensive and stifling- mainly their finishing has been somewhat lacking... Edit- Sky says it was 27. Some of their finishing was dreadful- but ultimately they didn't do enough.

The Coach
Italy will regroup and will push fresh blood through. Just like France & Brazil. At least these countries rectify their issues, unlike England.
