Luxo Jr. Posted December 2, 2017 Report Share Posted December 2, 2017 Despite being one of the more positive posters on here generally, at the game today I was far less impressed than most seemed to be, and despite us playing the ball around well I didn't think we posed too much of a threat on goal. Second half was a completely different story, and Smith was, as usual, everywhere. One particularly satisfying crunching tackle on the mountainous Gestede sticks in the memory. But I agree, the end product was not quite there in the first half. We look so well drilled, lines were good & the space between the lines condensed. The fluidity of some of our forward play can be great to watch at times. As for Smith, big fan of his & would of been right up there for the mom award imo.
