They flew into bristol flying centre tonight, staying at Cadbury house hotel tonight. Flying straight home after game tommorow night.

I heard they are landing just before 11 this morning

Currently a bit foggy up here by the airport, hope they don’t get diverted!

I too heard they were flying in yesterday and staying at Cadbury

Interestingly this plane is currently on the runway at Manchester - perhaps they are at Cadbury this afternoon for their meal, afternoon sleep etc?

A quick google says plane expected at Bristol 10.48am. A further google reveals ‘BAe 146 departing with the Man Utd team after demolishing the Swansea scum 4-0 yesterday’ with a photo of said plane. They have used it before. THEY ARE COMING!!!

According to a Utd forum poster this is the squad which travelled so 18 from this 20:

Got the plane:

Romero, Joel Pereira, O'Hara
Darmian, Shaw, Blind
Lindelof, Smalling, Rojo, Tuanzebe
Pogba, Herrera, McTominay
Mkhitaryan, Lingard, Mata
Rashford, Martial
Zlatan, Lukaku

That is not bad at all

Honestly thought they would have stayed last night instead of travelling on the day. Not the most ideal of preparation for such a big club.

Oh well if it gives us those few extra % I won't be complaining.

Unless this plane is carrying executives, directors etc etc?

Sounds about right with no DG and Matic.

And people say English football is waning....

Anyway, for those of us who do not follow the Premiershit, let alone Manchester, which of those players should I be looking out for tonight?

Are they any good?  I know Rashford is half decent as he's played well for England.  Not sure about the rest.

How insulting sending a weakened squad .

Just the reserve team then !

A massive test for the lads tonight , great chance for them to test themselves

hope that it's not too much of a reality check for our fan base and we provide real competition for them

Rashford  Lukaku or Pogba running at you is not akin to Billy Sharp

Do your best and do yourself proud lads

:city:

(Glad to see Ashley Young absent too - had a feeling he would have caused us problems )

For those that doesn't follow the premier league this is the team that started for them at the weekend against West Brom and their bench. Those that took the flight (if correct) to Bristol are in bold.

De Gea

A. Young

C. Smalling

P. Jones.

A. Valencia

A. Herrera

N. Matic

J. Mata

J. Lingard

M. Rashford

R. Lukaku

Subs

VN. Lindelof

M. Rojo

Z. Ibrahimovic

A. Martial

S. Romero

L. Shaw

S. McTominay

Not in match-day squad vs West-Brom: J. Pereira, O'Hara (both GKs), Darmian, Blind, Tuanzebe, Pogba (suspension), Mkhitaryan,

Tellingly they've brought their reserve defence essentially and their full strength attack. Smacks of underestimating our forward play and respecting our defence, perhaps. Food for thought.

For some of these players this might be the only chance they get in their whole career to play at Ashton Gate. I sincerely hope they don't get overwhelmed by the big occasion and do themselves proud. Flinty, Joey and Korey Smith will surely do autographs and swap shirts after so Ibra et al can genuinely concentrate on their game and not let themselves down. Whatever the result they need to look back on the game at the end of their careers as a highlight they remember fondly.
