Can anyone clarify if you get an extra sub in extra time? I’ve always thought it was still only the 3 subs for the match.

Yep, allowed to make one additional sub, max of 4 in total.  I think that if you only make 2 in normal time, you can still only make 1 in ET.

We dont actually have 4 that Lee would want to bring on do we?

Surely that is dependant on the conditions at the time.

If we had brought on 3 attack minded players in 90 mins because we were 1 down and we then get to extra time he may want a more defensive player.

Get over-run in midfield - formation change with sub. Keeper injury in 1st minute of extra time etc etc.

It is a good rule as the way you approached the second half may not be the way you want to approach extra time.

And there is always the specialist penalty taker sub after 119 minutes too !!

We will need to find more subtle methods of conquering them (whilst the ref is not looking) :)

They'd have to take us to extra time first ;)
