MU in comparison will have half of their first team on the bench. If we had brought on 3 attack minded players in 90 mins because we were 1 down and we then get to extra time he may want a more defensive player. Get over-run in midfield - formation change with sub. Keeper injury in 1st minute of extra time etc etc. It is a good rule as the way you approached the second half may not be the way you want to approach extra time.
