BCFC_Mike
I'll echo the words of playing the kids against Watford... failing to do so, Man City will give us an absolute battering and it will just be a knock on effect. 1 Quote Link to comment

To do it again is utterly ridiculous. Last season all over again? We scored whilst Flint was up front? The only time we broke down a quality Wolves defence was when he was playing there. You could be forgiven that in a strange sort of way some prefer it when we play badly.. at least then they have something to moan about on OTIB. 1 Quote Link to comment
Red Wardy Returns
Just now, Phileas Fogg said: We scored whilst Flint was up front? old_eastender
Pato sells Bryan short and another corner Villa. Reid and Pato playing poorly tonight. Quote Link to comment
The hand of RO'D
People saying this is shades of last season... Get a grip for goodness sake. We’re 4th in the league, this is our first heavy defeat of the season! How many unbeaten away were we before tonight? I despair sometimes I honestly do. I swear some on here are just hoping for failure so they have something to post about. Edited January 1, 2018 by The hand of RO'D 8 Quote Link to comment
Ivorguy
I still don’t understand the Taylor signing and all the shenanigans surrounding it Quote Link to comment

Not directly but the point is we did score when he was up there so not quite fair to say Flint up top achieved nothing. Also Flint up top against QPR went quite some way to changing the game. Portland Bill
Had a bad feeling about today, it’s always hard when your second game in a very quick turnaround is away from home, especially at somewhere like Villa. Quote Link to comment

'contributing to the goal' is more than just taking a shot or making an assist, whilst he was up there he spooked their defence and pulled them out of position.. helping to make the space for our goal. 1 Quote Link to comment
old_eastender
Grealish subbed, as much as I hate him, probably best player on the pitch tonight. 1 Quote Link to comment
Cotham Brow Red
Man C will put a Steve Smith Ashes innings past us if we turn up to the Etihad and perform like this Quote Link to comment
Lordofthebling
Brownhill and Pato look shattered, I feel sorry for Steele, Kelly and the travelling fans, Bryan, Baker and Reid look out of sorts to say the least and I have to say it - Wright and LJ have had an absolute mare today. I emphasise again the word - TODAY... They all need a rest and go again. Edited January 1, 2018 by Lordofthebling 2 1 Quote Link to comment

TV Tom
Oh well, 4th it is, we would of bit a hand off to be in this position at beginning of season, we need a break from the league and will come back refreshed and at least we won’t have to play Villa & Wolves again this season Quote Link to comment
Gert Mare
Didn't expect anything less than this today. Far too many games all close together with the Man Utd game on top, and long term injuries rather than short term ones. It's almost been a game every 2 to 3 days and against sides at the top. Still, not many other sides around us have capitalised over the Christmas break either, so we write it off and going again. 4 Quote Link to comment

Curr Avon
We're knackered. Paterson has only played thanks to an epidural and we have no depth due to a long injury list. This result was coming after our Herculean efforts during December. Let's just grin and bear it and hope for reinforcements before the Norwich home game on Saturday 13th.
