If anyone got one I might be able to help, DM me

At the Man Utd game a disabled supporter (with blue badge clearly visible) had his car towed away outside the Ford car showroom just off the roundabout and yet he has been parking there all season.

He had to pay £150 to get his car back, plus taxi fares home and to the compound the following day.

Cars (with blue badges displayed) who were parked there today didn't even get a parking ticket.

It's fairly obvious it would happen.

However, agreed about the infrastructure and the transport options to the ground are average and overpriced.

All I know? It'll become worse when it hits 3 out of 5 games of 25k or more.

I'm quite surprised that it hadn't happened sooner. Cars are parking inconsiderately all over the place.

After seeing how they deal with this at Man blue just made be realise how Bristol cant sort out anything.

Its simple, close the road out the back of the Atyeo to anything other than busses, park a load of busses there and get fan's all over the city in next to no time Gordano, portway, Cribbs, city centre/temple meades, stoke Gifford, portishead, yate ect we also have a lot of fans in Weston so busses to weston.

Why cant the people in charge organise this? Its like we have a council that dont want large event's to happen or the skills within the city to understand how to deal with large events.

The point is, there is very little parking around AG. And getting from the Hotwells Road to the ground isn't fan-friendly at all

10 minute walk at best isn't it. Past the Scotia, over the Ashton Avenue bridge, through the park and you're at AG.

I'm sure when the Wickes redevelopment is done there'll be more (paid)  parking but in the meantime make the most of free on-road parking

It’s fine.

You just past the Create Centre and through 2 peaks and your there.

After daek ark is a very different story though as the lighting in the parks is shocking and I am relieved not to have been bum raped.

Generally speaking, the infrastructure around AG is abysmal. Has been for years

No other major city has had to suffer like ours from decades of council laziness and incompetence. There’s no parking cos the London exiles are clogging the streets with their SUVs. Not your spot mate if you don’t like it chuff off out of Bedminster and back to Balham.

This city is going to the dogs.

Go to Manchester, Sheffield, Brighton, Glasgow wherever you like and they’ve all had millions spent on public transport infrastructure.

The city’s been red for decades but all we have to show for all that council tax paid is social justice causes for champagne socialists. Spend the money on what the people want and need I beg you. A train line and station would be a nice start.

Tearing what’s left of my hair out over here. BS4 til I die but I’ll be forced to move to Bridgwater soon at this rate.

I've walked through the park last year on my way home from work, and it was practically pitch black - I think I could see more if I closed my eyes.

I'm sure there was a condition of the planning permission given to the redevelopment of The Gate that City upgraded the path across the park (that ends at the Ashton Road toilet block) and also light it. There were one or two posters on here that were really up on this a couple of years back but I've forgotten who they were.

I’m amazed  this hasn’t happened before ref parking on the grass verges etc. Some people do seem to park literally anywhere. COYR

The ones on the grass verges between Wickes and the roundabout didn't get tickets. The ones across the road did as they were fully parked on the pavement.

I normally walk towards the garden centre and the lighting is so bad you cannot even see the path, I have strayed off numerous times and needed to use the torch on my phone to prevent me getting lost in the dark..:

Absolute shambles. When will the club learn? Been saying for years that this has been a problem and it’s only going to get worse. Dread to think how the roads will cope on the night of the Man City game.

Exactly the same as Man U game - no issues. There really is so much parking knocking about if people just did their homework and weren't lazy.
