Fantastic point really.

Missed Baker a huge amount and hope it is not too serious. Mags looked like an accident waiting to happen, Brownhill, Pack, Bryan not really on their game. Having to make two subs for injuries also reduced our options.

Given all that, and that this is a decent Derby on a good run, excellent result. Lucky in a lot of ways, but we also had some bad luck in it, so it is what it is.

Joint MoM for me for Fielding/Steele.

A point away from home against 2nd in league is a brilliant result, luckily the ref messed up with that penalty decision though. Well done lads, get Tuesday over and done with and then push on in the league

Midfield were poor all over, yet we don't see Liam, Kent or Eliasson - or even Engvall for PAto bringing Reid into midfield.  Those players not "trusted" yet ?

 

Anyway, a point, hopefully we can start turning things around now, but really need to up our attacking threat.

A positive was Diedhiou. Although obviously lacking in match practice he showed some nice touches for his first game back and took the pressure of Reid

Yep, was glad they took Nugent off 'cos he was causing Maggs all sorts of problems. We have to hope Baker's knock isn't too serious.

How often have we not had stonewall penalties awarded this season? I can think of at least three occasions without even concentrating. tonight was a little evening up.

That is one massive point gained and a point away from home against second in the league. How we managed it I do not know.

Positive fro me is seeing Didiehu pack. Just needs to get back to match fitness and sharpness as some of his touches were off the mark, as were most of the squad.

Just need a few more back now and we may be able to get on to winning ways!!

Superb result...we’ve now played Wolves twice, Derby twice and Villa twice....

A point there would have been decent even when we were in good form.

A few heart in mouth moments but they dug in and stuck at it. Baker being out for any length of time would be a huge blow though.

Edit: Got lucky with the penalty, but Jerome only has himself to blame for the theatrics.

It may have been the plan, but having to sub Baker and Fielding gave us many fewer options sub wise. Still surprised we did not use the third.

Don’t think I’m alone in saying I’d have taken that before the game. Was a definite penalty, but the exaggerated dive certainly influenced the referee’s decision. Well fought, City.
