Illegal Spud!  You’ll be polishing the bases and adding a second washer next!!

I hope you’re not a “shover “ :P

blimey...how do you know about such methods Dave? Do you play?

When flicking...I play to Oldsubbuteo rules and figures. Just like from the 70's/80's when I was a kid.

Meet up once a month with a bunch of likeminded individuals...we flick, talk footy and girls, eat and drink...lots of banter.

Nothing serious....just lots of laughs and a diversion from the real world for a few hours ;-)

I notice their is a Subbuteo Club in Bristol now...however they play the modern version of the game...not for me.

Full lyrics - written by Black Lace, Septic Peg, @slartibartfast and @UREDS_91.

Aaaagaaaadoo doo doo

Push pineapple, Diony.

Agadoo doo doo

Push pineapple, PENALTY!

To the left, to the right

Jump up and down and to the knees

Come and dance every night to Diony's melody.

Dance moves available on request in S82.

Swap Agadoo for ‘Diedhiou’ and change a fair few of the lyrics and that’s along the same lines of what I thought of earlier

Something about ‘coming over from France; to play for the City’ too

 Don’t let Robbored see this

I used to as a kid. Not sure I ever played the proper rules. My mate was a shover, and his home rules were that you could flick the keeper out as soon as the ball entered the 30 yard line. Didn’t matter if he took your player and not the ball. It was like Schumacher and Battiston but 20 times a game!!!

A local goalie I knew of played for England - and I heard a few tales of cheating like the double washer!!
