As comfortable a first half as we have had, since, well, our last one.

Hopefully LJ tries nothing to clever in the second half. They score a fluke, smash one in from 25 or whatever, and it is a different game. At the moment it really should be three points. Just hoping for a no dramas second half!

Magnússon’s throw certainly proving a good weapon here. I count four goals now this season from his throws:

- Two today

- Djuric v Palace

- Flint v Cardiff

Wow that was a fantastic first half and maggers doing well at CB and the throws are creating havoc in the Leeds box

Leeds did some dirty tackles, but luckily none of our players was injured.

Reminding me of Fulham away. Our defensive/midfield lines that night were superb. Currently making it very difficult for Leeds to find gaps in behind. Everyone knowing their roles superbly today. More of the same next half please boys. 

The 3rd will come with patience, which is what we’ve showed so far in abundance. COYR!

Smith stand out. Reid excellent and Famara doing well. 

Kent having his best game, putting in a shift for the team and always an outlet going forward.

Leeds very physical, but generally we are matching them. Wouldn't be surprised to see them have someone sent off the way they're lunging in.

More goals in this game for us - expect them to throw everything and the kitchen sink at us in the 2nd half, so let's put the game to bed early and get a 3rd.

Good first half from City. Diedhiou took his goal really well - I thought at first he took too long and the chance was gone but he found a gap and slotted it in. Quality. Good to see Reid getting a goal too. He works hard but shows such skill too.

We've played well but not outstanding, Leeds have been dire though.

Hard to remember a more dominant & self assured first 45 minutes. Even at 3-0 up last week it was hardly like we played that well but this week we’ve had very little to worry about & everything has been very well controlled in my opinion.

Pack doing well too. Really good to see the tempo and desire from City to close the Leeds lot down too. 

Hopefully the second half will be better than last Saturday!!!

I agree and the crowd are on their backs and they are quickly losing whatever little discipline that they had.

I don’t trust this referee, the important thing now is to not allow the crowd any hope and LJ has to get his substitutions spot on.

Great team performance but Pack having a great game and Smith probably the best player on the field.

Very good point. We certainly look more focused today. We've just got to keep it up in the second half and hopefully Heckingbottom won't have regrouped that lot at half time.

The referee worries me, given some very questionable decisions so far.

Can't see this ending up like Sunderland, we were poor in that first half but took our chances, we've been solid this half and would have at least 3 with a competent referee

 

Now watch us lose 3-2....

Time for Lee to show he has learned from his mistakes and make the right subs, especially if we are under the cosh, but not the most defensive of benches though...

Expect we'll see Walsh and maybe Pato.

Could have been more if Hooper (who is usually quite good) didn' give them a foul every time we breathed in their box.

Just sling every throw and corner to Wiedwald, top tactics.
