The younger brother of Carl Cort has signed his first professional terms with the Bristol City academy. Ashton Cort will join up with his U21 team mates next week, although he is unavailable for the first week of the season due to a prior commitment.

Still no place on the bench for Colston Hall, he's looking like a bad buy.

Apparently Massive Attack have sponsored his shirt for next season but his name will be blanked out on the back.

In an effort to nurture local talent City are fielding the following team.....or are they ?

Bradley Stoke

Lawrence Hill                      Phil Wood          Spike Island                Lawrence Weston

Kane Sham            Sandy Park            Headley Park               Al Mondsbury

Noel West         Melvin Square

When interviewed , the manager Arthur ( Art ) Cliff said he was particularly looking forward to seeing the ' big man, small man' combination up front with both Noel and Melvin more than able to stick up for themselves if it 'got tasty'....and with the Park brothers in center mid ' creative was assured '. When asked about the new keeper he quipped ' Bradley is big and imposing ...i'm sure he'll do well for us and his value is bound to increase !

Note to self......must get out more...

Surprised Kenn Moor misses out.
