Red DNA
This is quite an interesting article about players from the EFL trying to re-start their careees in Sweden - some at vet remote locations. Looks like there’s a similar project being started up in Spain as well for the guys to try to get a break into a career they couldn’t make it here in the UK. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43490842

Major Isewater
Credit to the lads who have knuckled down and made something of their lives. Some players are too wrapped up in cotton wool .

Mr X
More English youngsters should definitely try heading overseas if they don't make it to start with here. Leagues abroad could suit there game better and they could make a decent career in places like Sweden whereas here there's a good chance they'll end up in non-league/out the game altogether. A notable recent graduate is Sam Clucas - rejected as a youngster by Leicester he went to Glenn’s Academy and has since played in the premier league for Hull City and Swansea City - and to complete the circle with delicious irony, his premier league debut was against Leicester! https://www.theguardian.com/football/2007/dec/19/newsstory.sport2
