How have you managed this as I was told it was over the phone only

I think essentially what I have done is just purchase a new seat.

I did not previously reserve my old seat.

This was my interpretation of the process for those wanting to move seats.

Supporters moving seats to new areas can access the stadium plan directly from the Season Card tab on the ticketing website and select a seat from there CLICK HERE. Season card holders who do not have access to the internet can call Supporter Services on 0117 963 0600 (option 1).

You would think reading this on the web site season ticket reminder you could do it on line??

Tickets that have already been bought cannot be moved - you would just buy different seats with the usual process, and after 8pm your old ones would be removed from your ID and made available, which makes the entire 8pm deadline redundant.

And you still can't select disabled/carer options online.

I’ve just managed to move albeit still waiting for confirmation email .

The bigger question is why would an instruction posted on the Internet give information and instructions to people with no Internet access?

That just shows what type of people/business/system we're now dealing with.

@Matt Parsons BCFCSLO can you enlighten us please. Is it so difficult to have a queuing system for phone calls :grr:

Hi there,

I have spoken to Supporter Services and there is a queuing system in place. The sheer volume of calls from supporters  today has been a lot more than any other day in the last few weeks. All I can advise is to keep trying. I appreciate its frustrating not being able to get through immediately but everyone is working as hard as they can to answer everyone's calls as soon as possible.

Wonder why the volume is so much higher today.....

Looks like resales have gone very well. Based on availability in e29 and e30 which aren't the most expensive - so maybe not representative -  a good number of those who bought half season tickets (and have every reason to feel they bought on a false prospectus!) have rebought full season tickets.

E30 is classed as central dolman so does not get more expensive in that stand.

Thanks for the scoop - I could not have predicted that was the situation.

Matt, can you change seats on line,  as the instructions on the web site seem to allow this?

Well, I've been trying to get on the queuing system since 12.15  (now 15.52)......should I keep trying?

Did Supporter Services offer any kind of apology?

p.s. We all knew this would happen.

Needy...?!

Yes I need a email and one text a week before , not constant bombardment of texts... espcially when you think rather then wasting money on this sort of technology they could just keep the prices the same. Not that for me it would change my mind because I feel I will enjoy away games more then home.

If you haven't renewed your seat you can choose a new seat on line, if you have renewed and want to change your seat you will need to call.

Thanks Matt all sorted now . Well hopefully , I haven’t received confirmation email yet though. I wouldn’t normally worry  but with city’s long history of ticket cock ups im not 100% sure :laughcont:

Yes it does. It's gone up £68 for adults and a 98% increase for kids.

My post is badly worded but what it was supposed to be doing was correcting a comment stating that E30 is not amongst  the most expensive block in the dolman and I was trying to say that it is as it is classed as central.

I can only assume that lack of a press release yesterday, celebrating the number of sales up to deadline, suggests that numbers are not that great.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.  Saved myself £668 yesterday. Result. Sadly.

I can confirm that @Harry (late of this parish) hasn't changed his position and won't be renewing his season ticket. Whilst he wasn't impacted by price increases, it is his show of solidarity to those who have been priced out.

My impression from @Harry's posts was that ST pricing was the final straw, with him already being frustrated over parking, no longer being allowed to socialise outside the Spanish Bar, being surrounded and stared at by intimidating robocops in S82 etc.

Not doubting at all though that he may have grudgingly accepted all of those and renewed anyway, and a matter of principle over ST pricing was the over riding reason not to renew.

Some will definitely not be renewing because of price increases but it seems to me there are many other factors the club need to look at as to why there seems an undercurrent of decreasing enthusiasm amongst others.

As Harry's always been a poster I look out for on here I hope his declared absence from OTIB only turns out to be temporary.

I went and change my seat online. Didn't want my old seat in the Dolman so waited until today and just went in and bought one in The South Stand

I moved out of the Dolman after 17 years into the South Stand for this season, one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I feel for Harry.Seems such a passionate supporter.I didn't renew after many years last season due to other commitments making it too difficult. Same for next season too.Have to say though that I have been falling out of love with football for several years. Everything from stupid pre match handshakes, lights left on at night games,cheating/gamesmanship and many other things are killing it for me.Watching England vs Italy the other day with that hopeless VAR nonsense made my heart sink a bit more.I think it will ruin the World cup.Maybe not so bad for younger fans but as someone who was lucky enough to watch football in the 80sand90s football has just lost any sense of being a sport for the fans who actually attend games and support their club.Hope to get my season ticket again when circumstances allow but can't ever see football getting back to how it used to be.

Massive respect to anyone boycotting due to season ticket prices. I know how hard it is to not be going to the Gate to back the team.Hopefully one day it will become the supporters game again.
