Andy082005
Well ive just seen the line up and my heart has sunk Walsh AND Kent..... And Baker on the bench? Baker may be carrying...but the other two? Ridiculous decision

nickolas
Oh dear. Just now, Nogbad the Bad said: Baker, Paterson and Pack left out. Flint, Walsh and Kent starting. Oh dear. Still manages to find a place for Wright! He’ll be up front next just to keep him in the team! ( although to be fair it wouldnt surprise me if Baker is rested due to his recent groin injury ). Roadrunner
Tony Cottee following our match on Sky this afternoon. He says he normal gets boring 0-0 or 1-0. So I am going Flint in the 88 min.

Wanderingred
I really really hate the look of that team selection. Very happy to eat humble pie but I fear the worst here.

Alex_BCFC
Pack our best player Friday dropped - can only assume injured...Baker we know not fit so no surprise there which sadly means Wright remains. I do think there is a hell of a player in Kent - hope he delivers today.

LondonBristolian
I don’t think it is a coincidence that Baker and Patterson have struggled with niggly injuries and they are the ones not picked for 2 games 3 days apart. I would guess the decision is a combination of how their fitness levels are and whether there is a risk of anything being exacerbated.
Esmond Million's Bung
Glad to see Flint back, glad to see Paterson dropped, glad to see Walsh given a rare opportunity, but don't understand the selection of Kent, but hey if this 'rising Liverpool star' decides to actually put in a performance today it will be gladly accepted, not holding my breath. As for Baker I suspect that he is being wrapped a little in cotton wool given his recent injuries, nothing more than that.

BRISTOL86
Pack must have a niggle and Baker clearly isn’t fit so not sure why the hyperbole. Only surprise is Kent starting but hasn’t everyone been clamouring for Pato to be dropped?
BanburyRed
In fairness after Friday, anyone in the back four could've been dropped we were that bad. Flint had to come back in, so it's a straight choice of Baker or Wright to miss out, seems like Wright has the sign over Baker, until Baker is carrying a knock. Bryan for me still wasted at left back, should be left midfield with a licence to get forward. Personally I would've gone with 3-5-2 today, need to get good start, get hold of midfield and boss the game.

If Magnússon was fit I suspect one of Wright or Pisano might have been rested as well.
Bs4Red
Can’t believe LJ who’s spends every day with these players has dropped Pack Baker and Paterson all who had niggly injuries. Johnson out. On a serious note, forced changes more than needed I think. Still a strong team
cityexile
Going to miss Pack I fear. Really got to assume he is carrying an injury. Walsh and Kent starting? If it is not due to injuries, have to wonder sometimes if LJ is better when he does not have to many choices to over think it.

Maybe he’s even got a bit of an illness of some kind of which there would be no physical indicator? Or of course it could all be tactical, though team selections all season suggest otherwise. You Do The Dziekanowski
Would’ve preferred a more consistent team selection but Brentford aren’t exactly physical so Walsh and Kent could hopefully come into their own. Well I’m hoping that’s the case anyway
