City were poor tonight...

Really disappointed with Birmingham City tonight. With the players they had on the pitch I thought they would be a lot better then that.

Thought we did well though. Fair play...showed they actually do have a set of boll*cks and really dug deep tonight. Johnson was brave with that selection so credit to him for getting it right. I personally was expecting him to be march out the ground in a straight jacket when I first seen it...

Special mention to Lloyd Kelly. Played like a seasoned pro...he is gonna be some player if we look after him and develop him properly

Oops- sorry!

I got you confused with someone who rarely has anything good whatsoever  to say about Johnson, his team and Lansdown.

My bad.

Ahh the myth I have a vendetta againsy LJ and only post when we play badly.

As I said...its a myth

How about we just enjoy the win and some good individual performances, and not try to start a a row

Yep- fair play.

So how about the next time we lose ( which we will) you don't melt down?

Jota is a bit of a Modric type. I've barely heard of the rest of the Brum players but they all seemed decent on the ball. Good job we played with the intensity and enthusiasm that we came to expect before our wobble.

I think we’ve all been starved of good football lately that we think a pretty mediocre performance constitutes getting excited about.

We were decent tonight. No more than that. Brum should’ve scored a couple more, against better opposition we’d have lost that. I don’t think Boro will be so feckless in front of goal as the Brummies were tonight.

Only if you promise to take your head out your ass and realise that the players and management ..who have turned in a lot of gutless performances and showed a real lack of effort recently..are not beyond criticism

Only got the highlights and forum comments to go on, but from what I saw/read it was a credible performance against a side unbeaten in 4, scrapping for their lives, with a good manager and one we historically struggle against.

Good to see us not collapsing after conceding too.

This result will be a confidence boost. Good Boro losing too.

Yes they didn’t take their chances - but that’s why they are where they are and we are still in with a shout of the playoffs.

An enjoyable game, much better from City.

Think we just about deserved the win but it was obviously our night tonight with Brum missing 4 sitters.

It may not have been our night if they'd had Che Adams available, reckon he would have taken a couple of those chances.

We were ok tonight. After we went two up we got lazy and Baker in particular just lumped long balls to Djuric. It let them back into the game a bit. They had a few good chances and a draw wouldn’t have been unfair but we were rewarded for being clinical.

Birmingham had some quality on the pitch. Jutiewicz, Jota and Dean are all really good players for this league. They shouldn’t be near the bottom of the league and they may have won if Adams hadn’t been suspended. I’ll take the points though. Still in this playoff race and would like to be in it after Saturday.

Well I must have watched a different game because the Birmingham City I saw tonight played really well (as did we) and can consider themselves unlucky not to get a point. First half especially they were really dangerous and attacked with pace. We contained them better second half but on that showing I think they'll stay up.

So did we to be fair. Thought we deserved the win tonight.

We took our chances and had another one or two half chances. If they were as clinical as us they would have scored at least 4 tonight. Happy with a win against a team who have stepped up their game and are fighting for their lives.

Brave playing joe on the right which worked quite well, Kelly was refreshing, not sure about the 2 big boys up front, Duric got nothing from the ref and both were below par with their ball control, Bobby made an absolute nuisance of himself, every ball worth going for. Good performance- improve the striker ball control and we might just make it!

In the end we deserved 3-1well done
