freezer Posted April 17, 2018 Report Share Posted April 17, 2018 I couldn't believe my ears last week when late one night I was watching BBC 1. A programme finished and the link/voice man was heard to say......"and next up is A Question Of Sport, unless there are many questions on golf or Bristol Rovers I won't do very well". Now imagine my shock at hearing that fricking name mentioned on national tv by the intro guy, as I was having a rare relaxing evening, with full control of the remotes as the wife had already gone to bed. I almost dropped me Kleenex! What was even more alarming was that this chap sounded quite normal. No accent of any note, no speech defects, in fact, he sounded......normal.
