RYAN KENT?

Can we play him in goal.? He has his own gloves and it might limit his desire to try and beat every opposition player twice before lifting his head and considering releasing the ball.  & if he doesn't change his ways then it would at least be rather amusing to watch....

As fans we're not privy to the inner goings on within the squad training and dynamics. There must be reasons why LJ hasn't selected Eliasson. Maybe he's not showing well in training, maybe he's has an attitude issue. Perhaps he brought Kent in partly to motivate Eliasson - who knows?       :dunno:

or maybe he dont like swedes only turnips

Or Chris Wood or Sam Vokes?

TBF I thought Chris Wood was good for us, crucially scored the penalty at Forest and also a good contribution and goal against Coventry, both over the Easter period, which set up our escape from relegation (and helped seal Coventry's fate).  But on the theme of bad loans, can't help but think of Stern John, Vilecka (unfortunate as per Sam Vokes), and the giant Austrian forward (Maiher??) most people remember for having a reasonable cameo as a substitute keeper.

Now you know why we played him all season last year at Barnsley even though during the middle section of the season he was total gash and it was like playing with 10 men. We are too tight to pay the "fine".

City could have split part of the fine with you for inside knowledge on his 'ability' and 'application' and saved ourselves the bother this season.

But, like we fans are regularly told by management, City do lots and lots of homework on every player coming in. Yeah right.

In 38 years following City I cannot recall ever having such a high proportion of players on loan or permanent that have failed so abysmally and they cannot be all ones for the future; we are, to coin a Lee Johnson phrase, 'not in that league, not able to compete'. So if that is the case we cannot possibly be a bottomless pit of costly player failures without serious close season repurcussions.
