People want us to act like a massive club on a high budget so if that’s to happen we need to get the best commercial deals available and I can’t imagine Lancer Scott can match the financial clout if it is a big betting company. New company offer X amount to be main sponsor. Club replies that's great, but we have a sponsorship which hasn't run it's course yet, and it would cost XX amount to cancel the sponsorship. New company then say that's fine, we'll offer you the original X and then the XX on top to cancel the contract so you're not losing out at all. The club then receives XXX amount for the sponsorship.
