Not ITK but I know Huddersfield were paid approx £1.5m a year from a betting company this year.

Even if it's half that, I imagine it would be at least double what Lancer Scott were paying.

For some reason I thought I’d seen somewhere that the Lancer Scott deal was £250k per season.

I suspect the Lancer Scott figures have never been revealed publicly but there are figures in the company accounts for previous years for the deals with RSG because of Keith Dawe's involvement and him being a related party

2011/12 (Championship) - "Resource Solutions Group PLC in which K W Dawe is principal shareholder and directory provided sponsorship for the group in the year for a fee of £100,000."
https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/01501663/filing-history/MzA3MzYzOTI2NmFkaXF6a2N4/document?format=pdf&download=0

2014/15 (League One) - "Resource Solutions Group purchased [...] kit sponsorship of £75,000 from the group."
https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/01501663/filing-history/MzExOTE0MDg0N2FkaXF6a2N4/document?format=pdf&download=0

2015/16 (Championship) - RSG again sponsored the kit but no mention in the accounts.

I think a little too much is being made of the divisive comment from Gregor here.

Expect it's a standard looking kit but the new sponsors being the divisive part he mentions.

If true standard BP with their finger on the button after otib

We had a baby yesterday, so basically no I can't and I don't have the energy or the inclination. However, I would still be willing to bet that if I or anyone was so inclined, I could find more than 1.

In that respect, I agree that it's a lazy argument. I made the accusation with no intention of backing it up!

And you still found time to speculate on our new shirt sponsor. Good luck Mrs C. Mrs RO sympathises!!

Gregor McGregorface says the away kit is black and white....

Assume that’s white shirt/black shorts rather than a Newcastle stripey affair.

Bit of variation would be nice. Shite yellow, purple and lime, black and white seem to be the 4 we've rotated around for as long as I can remember. When actually was the last time we didn't have one of those colours?

Bottle green next year please lads.

Probably the green number we had about ten years back?

Congratulations Chip - maybe we'll return to that bet when you've got a bit more time and are in better humour - from experience of having 2 children that'll be when your youngest is about 18, then.   :help:   :shocking:

Good choice, Elliott Chipdawg has definitely got a certain ring to it.

If you're looking for an up and coming middle name have you considered Elliott Nogbad Chipdawg, after your favourite OTIB poster?

Black and white that takes me back a few years.

I remember when we had a Green and White away kit, I liked that one it was actually very comfy, plus we had a White, Red and Black away kit which I also really liked, it was a really thin material but again was comfy.

I've not really liked the last couple of kits, I'm not as skinny as I was and wear a L or XL and for me I have to go back 4/5 years for a kit I enjoyed wearing. Probably the Puma or Adidas ones.

And a lovely kit it was too. Made by Admiral or TFG iirc.

Green with black across the shoulders and down the arms (long sleeved). Was Admiral, quite possibly the last batch before TFG *shudder*

Saying that though we did have a green training top which was a TFG not long afterwards - unless that's what you're thinking of?

Frankly amazed that a subject as trivial as who sponsors our shirt has prompted so many responses. Other than Schweppes who only appeared on our training kit and later Blackthorn who did make the kit, there wouldn't be many in this land outside of BS3 who'd have a scooby who our sponsors were, let alone had ever used their services or purchased their products. Understand the concept of brand reinforcement but have yet to meet anybody who ever purchased a product based on having seen it on a player's shirt. There are several very big sponsors to whom to this day my response remains ' who the **** they' and even when told I'll ask the same the following week. So to that end I couldn't give a flying if we're sponsored by South Korea's largest grommet manufacturer provided they've coughed up enough for quality players inside said shirts. And to those fretting as to what logo they'll be forced to catwalk when wearing the shirt at games next season, the website's called Full Kit W**kers for good reason.

Personally, I hope we're sponsored by 'Viagra' in the hope we play hard and when getting up stay there through to an end of season climax.

Even then we'd suffer premature relegation.

Don’t really get the Full Kit W**kers comment.
