danrozzell Posted June 5, 2018 Report Share Posted June 5, 2018 Hi everyone, My mum is doing a sponsored swim on the 24th June at the Riverside Leisure Club for The West Of England MS Therapy Centre. She has MS and was diagnosed in 2012 and the MS Centre is vital to the community and the whole of the south west to people with Multiple Sclerosis. They provide treatments and therapies as well as support for carers and families. They receive no government or NHS funding so every donation counts. They don't just help people with MS it's also available to people with non-neurological conditions such as arthritis, as well as for sporting or post-operative injuries. People attend the centre from the whole of the South West and even South Wales, as the next nearest centre is Gloucester. They have previously helped City especially in the promotion season with players like Mark Little, Korey Smith and Kieran Agard have used the Centre’s Oxygen Treatment to reduce post-injury recovery times.
