Coming to the last couple of my videos now, another full 90 minutes from Ashton Gate. Again the video has seen better days, and the quality isn't the best but it is 24 years old after all. Not a great season either, the two tables below are after the game, and then the end of season. Always interesting to look back at other teams. While we fell out of the division with Notts County, Burnley and Swindon. Bolton won the playoffs to go up with Middlesboro. This year only 2 teams were promoted due to the reduction in teams in the Prem.

Interesting video. For some reason the mid 1990s is a bit of a black hole regarding my time supporting City, because apart from a few notable games (e.g. 1-0 at Anfield, 4-2 at Trumpton) I can't remember very much from that period.

Jordan’s first game in charge (for his second spell) was the derby against Swindon Town and he made six changes to the team. The first half saw Partridge hit the bar from 25 yards out, but no goals. In the second Allison shot, the keeper parried and Bent scored with the rebound, then Allison made it 2-0. Swindon pulled one back and Allison hit a second to make it 3-1 all in eight minutes! In the 90th. Minute Tinnion hit the post and in the second minute of stoppage time, Swindon scored a second goal, but City were the victors. This result was followed by five consecutive defeats and relegation was now a probability. John Gorman had been sacked as Swindon’s manager following their defeat at Ashton Gate and he now became Jordan’s assistant.
