Happy to start at home, and also to play the Anglo-Welsh derby with Swansea so soon.

I can't say the same about Hull's dates (near my birthday + the final day) and Brentford for Boxing Day: two teams that usually cause us problems...

3 away (out of 4) in November, with Leeds and Ipswich (mid week) away 4 days apart!

Usual disregard for fans. Ipswich H & A midweek, so not too many travelling fans.

The first Saturday televised lunch time game sees Charlton having to travel to Sunderland (280 miles) for a 12.30 KO.

We go through this every season, many clubs prefer long distance games midweek as it saves them overnight expenses for arriving in time on a Saturday. Easier to break the journey up travelling through the day long distances then travel home through the night

You are also assuming that everyone's travelling from the ground when the truth is nowadays supporters are based all over the country

Also, one would presume people would be unhappy if our more local games were midweek as there is an opportunity for bigger crowds/better atmosphere on a Saturday.

There's always going to be someone unhappy either way.
