Sports Manager Mats Gren confirms that Gustav Engvall has left IFK Göteborg to sign for another club.

Prior to the season, the striker Gustav Engvall joined a loan to IFK Göteborg from Bristol City.

According to Göteborgs Posten, the 22-year-old negotiates a transition to Belgian Mechelen. Blåvitt is currently on training camp, but Engvall is missing.

Sports Manager Mats Gren confirms that he leaves, but does not want to mention which club is concerned.

"He has left to sign for another club,"

It does make you wonder about the homesickness thing though if he`s happy going to Belgium.

Are you serious?

It has been blatantly obvious since very early on here that we felt we made a huge mistake, then came out with a series of stories to try and cover up for it, £2m, dear oh dear..

Massive endictment of our foreign transfer policy (Kodjia aside).

£2m for Engvall, £1.8m for Eliasson, £1.5m for Djuric, £2.5m for Magnússon (we then got less back), Hegeler too, plus 2 awful loans in Giefer and Diony.

Not going to break even on any of these signings, plenty will see huge losses.

Shambolic.

Can you provide the evidence that proves the homesickness story wrong and you right? Because just saying that he didn't play well for us/wasn't good enough is not cast iron proof.
