Probably a year later come to think of it, as a very young and unknown Ray Wilkins was playing, probably aged about 16.

It was Gordon Parr's testimonial.

Well remembered 'Southstand'. Just checked. My dad took me to that one as well.

Thanks for your helpful response, although I just seem to recall the 8, 9 and 10 shirts all playing up front - perhaps what used to be called an inside forward might better describe my memories of Terry Bush.
