The last time I didn't buy a season ticket was when Pulis was appointed manager. Couldn't stand the bloke, his Gas connection and style of football.

However, I watched the Pulis interview (posted above) and found him honest (I think), interesting and respectful. Crazy since I have stopped watching the Johnson interviews towards the end of last season as I find them full of excuses, management speak and bull.

Pulis will still get stick from me come 3pm.

Frankly a manager as hardened, wily and determined as To would take us to the places we don't normally play.

Not him of course but one like him.

Tiny penis always sets up to defend first.

Frankly, with the players at his disposal, playing 5 across the middle with 1 up front I'd be pretty cheesed off being a Boro fan.

A colleague who's a big WBA fan refused to go because of triffic's lamentable tactics when he was there.

He's been the same everywhere he's gone. The only difference is the amount of transfer money at his disposal.

He'd sign Lurch or Jaws if he could.

Perhaps no one's told him that size doesn't matter or is he hiding another secret, eh Tiny?

Folks, i did request a stand in today, namely Pegs and then Wendy, both having stepped in before as we know. Not a dickie bird of a reply. I suppose its lie in day after another hard slog beating off the other traffic, fighting for a multi storey car parking slot and dealing with the utter male moron at work or over the phone.

I am incapacitated out in the boondocks unfortunately and my pen and paper did not make it into the rather slimsified shoulder or sling over bag; not even Lee would fit inside.

Incapacitated only in as much as the signal, here in Siquijor, is sporadic ooh there back again. So I give the floor to everyone which makes it far more entertaining than my often diatribical windass effort. That sort of goal would do me today with Flint ever so slightly moving his sedere to allow the ball through unsighted.. A thing of beauty.

Good day all.

Is being incaopacitaed in the boondocks a result of an overly energetic honeymoon Hav?   :)

I’m truly astonished if he’s playing Pisano at CB after Tuesdays showing. He looked completely lost and completely uncomfortable in that position. Didn’t know which way to turn, where to be and struggled to deal with the physicality of the Plymouth forwards.

And what the hell has Eliasson done wrong?

Pity about Eliasson, he is defensively far better than Paterson, I would normally say that Paterson's goal last week saved his place, but LJ does have an incredibly soft spot for him so I suspect that it wouldn't matter.

As @BobBobSuperBob suggested, could well be 4-4-2. That would be the more defensive option and makes sense to help out Pisano with both Baker and Wright out.

Thus it makes sense, just, to go with Pato instead of Eliasson in the number 10 role despite his below par performances and Watkins over Eliasson for his extra physicality.

We'll find out shortly!

Presumably that is why he has reverted to Smith and Pack to provide a bit more midfield cover.  Not over enamoured with this line up, but the CB options are limited.

why does he continue to pick players in not their best position. Brownhill on the right , why not Eliasson or O’Dowda wide players who will give us width.

Tut tut

You will be on the moaners list

I can only apologise @havanatopia

I had to have my wisdom tooth removed in an emergency on Wednesday morning so I've been on strong painkillers and sleeping pretty much ever since.

I'll be fighting fit for the next match, have no fear!

3-1 loss and Flint will score. We know the drill. Argh.

If anyone wants to see my mangled infectious tooth, my dentist gave it to me and I have a photo! I'm a disgusting person! :disapointed2se:

You may be correct, Paterson certainly owes us a performance that is for sure, however the wider issue for me is this last season all over again, lose 2 right backs and only sign one, this season lose 2 centre backs and only sign one, I would have thought that there should be a lesson in there somewhere.

Agreed - seems crazy to be in the position of having 2 centre backs out already and having to play a makeshift CB in a RB that's not in great form.
