Admin Ian M Posted August 21, 2018 Admin Report Share Posted August 21, 2018 My each way bet on Weimann @ 200/1 is looking better by the week. By my reckoning he needs about 14 in the remaining 42 games to finish 4th top scorer. Last three seasons I’ve done the same with Reid, Tammy and Kodjia 2 Quote Link to comment
Lanterne Rouge
It might have been largely shite but tonight was always only about the result. I`d have taken a 1-0 in off Taylor`s arse TBH 2 Quote Link to comment

BCFC Rich
That was an awful game, love the result and I guess that's all that matters but not very inspiring. Thought we played better football in the Middlesborough game. 1 Quote Link to comment

cityexile
Sometimes the result is everything, and by Christ we needed that. First half was really poor. First goal was everything, and thank heavens it was us. Lucky to keep a clean sheet really, but hey ho, an away win, and at QPR. Hopefully we get some confidence from that. Gives a bit of breathing space, a defeat and it could have been toxic. Kelly better than our multi million players. Scary. Edited August 21, 2018 by cityexile 2 Quote Link to comment

keflav
Think 0-3 flatters us tonight but QPR are utter crap Weimann, Kelly & Eliasson been our best players by far tonight... well done to for starting it all off... Quote Link to comment

Loco Rojo
Look, City are injury hit at the moment at a time when this new look team needs time to gel so it's going to impact performances. Yes games might not look pretty at times but we need to get behind the team and support them. Completely accept there will be crticisim constructively but there are too many embarrassing comments on here at times (scan the first 9 pages for examples). The second half showed we can do it. Yes it doesn't mean it's perfect or pretty but we still need time and to get the injured players back. Well done LJ and the team tonight. A much needed result and clean sheet. Also important that we didn't concede in the final minutes too. Something to build on from and helps the confidence too. 4 1 Quote Link to comment

RedJim
Well, the deficiencies are all still there, despite a much needed win. Andi Weimann looks a super signing though, and Lloyd Kelly was excellent and is going to be a hell of player. I just hope we can build on this now. 2 Quote Link to comment

Alessandro
A great result at ground we've been awful at in the recent past against a team who needed a result and performance after a 7-1 drubbing, with the crowd baying for blood. A game lacking in quality for the large part, but a very professional performance from us. We did what we've been saying we need to work on and took our chances and largely kept QPR at arm's length, a clean sheet with 2 main centre backs out. We saw out the game, just as Boro did against us. But unlike Boro, we didn't sit back with 30%/40% possession, rely on worldie saves and the woodwork twice to keep a clean sheet and a win. First win of the season, onwards and upwards. 2 Quote Link to comment

But IF we can build on it against Blackburn and Swansea we might be okay. Obviously If we don’t we are back to square one... Quote Link to comment
