Moaning about the Swansea front line more than anything else and saying they look tired and listless. 1 Quote Link to comment

Sour grapes, or are we being a bit rough? Reporter on the radio in the week reckoned they had "small" players, ie tippy tippy, and we're possibly a bit vulnerable to being roughed up, or if you like, out-muscled. Perhaps LJ was listening too? Quote Link to comment
Fiale
some really nice football, could be 4-0 up and Swansea could have no complaints... well Quote Link to comment

bristolcitysweden
I must say this was close to the perfect first half. We looked comfortable, structured and fluent. Very, very happy 5 Quote Link to comment

BCFC Rich
Missed a good chunk of the 1st half as I couldn't get the bctv player to work. Saw from where Watkins came off, from here on we've looked really good, swansea hardly had anything and we probably should have scored at least one more. COD also doing well. how were we doing before that? we're Swansea offering anything? etc Quote Link to comment

ProjectMayhem
First I've been able to watch this season, good composure on the ball, never really looked threatened. COD and Taylor looking particularly dangerous. Not sure what all the fuss has been about!! 1 Quote Link to comment
Red Exile
Quality 45 minutes. Defence looking very solid. Kalas very secure. Kelly playing a blinder at LB. The contrast with the first half at QPR couldn't be greater. Very encouraging. Quote Link to comment
Shtanley
Very good half. Perhaps unlucky to not be 2 infront. Quote Link to comment
cityexile
Well, not in truth how I expected this game to go, at all. Doing what we have done, Swansea certainly ahead on possession, but managed a grand total of one off target shot all half. We have created other than the goal some real chances and should most likely be more than one ahead. We have been compact, worked hard, and made it real difficult for them. Equally, surely Swansea cannot be so poor all game! Quote Link to comment
old_eastender
HT 0-1... good performance, just a shame we have not converted one of 3 or 4 chances to score a 2nd. Watkins went off after picking up a knock but was playing poorly anyway, COD much more threatening. Hunt still worries me, has given ball away and been out of position a few times. Overall though Maenpaa not had a serious shot to save, and had made several good claims from crosses. Kelly been brilliant so far. Rest of team working hard too. Can we keep it up is the question... Luxo Jr.
We've been in control. Probably should have scored a couple more. Swansea have offered very little in attack. Weimann and Taylor are being a nuisance. Not playing like thugs, put in a couple of physical challenges but won the ball fairly each time. We're jostling a lot, same as against QPR, but the referee isn't giving fouls because they're not fouls. Quote Link to comment
havanatopia
I hope, again, we do not rue those other chances. Swansea need to cone firing out the blocks 2nd half and City have to counter it. Quote Link to comment

Davefevs
Yeah, good, controlled half. Swansea got the ball into their midfield nicely, but not into the final third. Kelly having a great battle with Asoro down their right, Kelly on top. This was the guy who kept running at Bryan in the Sunderlsnd 3-3 isn’t it? Pack and Brownhill doing well both with and without the ball. Weimann and Taylor working really hard and doing god jobs. Our biggest threat, Eliasson who has the better of his RB...Good cross for goal and other chances created. edit; just to add COD looking confident since replacing Watkins.
