Bristol City v Swansea City Match Day 5

Recommended Posts

Firstly I am surprised at how average Swansea look.

We have have played some really neat football and look comfortable all over the pitch, especially in defence. But we need to take our chances.

Eliasson looks dangerous but should have scored.

Watkins going off seems like a blessing, ODowda looks far more threatening.

I love Pack in his role as captain, he seems born to the job to me, just like the captain that we haven’t had for such a long time at the club.

I cannot understand how McBurnie has not been booked, the referee has been overly lenient with him.

Overall a very good half, I repeat we need to take our chances, we look a far better side than them.

Great first half. Don't really remember Swansea troubling us at all. We've forced the keeper into making saves  from O Dowda, Weimann and Elliasson. Got to be the best we've seen so far from O Dowda this season so far.

Weimann looking class. Dropping deep, spreading it out wide and then getting back into the box. Our left side has looked really strong. Eliasson has the beating of his man and putting in some very good crosses. Kelly unflustered and has had the better of their winger the whole half. Barely noticed Kalas suggesting that he's not had much to do. The Fin has made some decent claims of crosses. Let's hope the Purple and limes can keep it up second half

Kicking towards us this half. Not sure if Swansea will let us have as much of the ball next half but we could easily of had a couple more. Kelly in particular looking very composed, certainly doesnt look out of place. So far a great performance and its amazing what a win on Tues did for confidence as we are really having a go at Swansea. Great to watch

We could have scored three goals in the 32 min - Eliasson, Weimann and O'Dowda. Not that you pissed bastards noticed ?.

Yeah, good, controlled half.  Swansea got the ball into their midfield nicely, but not into the final third.

Kelly having a great battle with Asoro down their right, Kelly on top.  This was the guy who kept running at Bryan in the Sunderlsnd 3-3 isn’t it?

Pack and Brownhill doing well both with and without the ball.

Weimann and Taylor working really hard and doing god jobs.

Our biggest threat, Eliasson who has the better of his RB...Good cross for goal and other chances created.

edit; just to add COD looking confident since replacing Watkins.

 God jobs?

They must be playing well!
