MattWSM
"If": - Blades and Villa draw - Derby lose or draw away at Hull - Bolton lose or draw away at Preston - Brentford lose or draw home to Forest - City bt Rovers. Will be a good start to be 3rd with 11 points from 6 matches considering it was 2 points from first 3 matches
David Brent
11 points would be good, regardless of position. Although 3rd would be nice right now, I wouldn’t worry it about too much

cidercity1987
Win and we'll most likely be in the play offs over the break. That'll do me. What a great start that would be, especially considering the doom and gloom less than 2 weeks ago.
Robbored
The league position doesn’t say much untill the Championship is around 10 games in. By then we’d have a rough idea of who has got off to a decent start. The pressure then is on the top six to try and stay there.....

mozo
Win and we're three points off the top. That's a great start any way you look at it. This will be a tough game to win though.

It is, as many have said, meaningless at this early stage but don`t underestimate the confidence and feel-good factor that little things like this bring to the squad and fans. Going into the international break in the top six can`t possibly be a bad thing.

It would be really promising if we beat Blackburn but also did it with the same level of composure as the Swansea game. To be honest, I think Blackburn will be harder to beat than Swansea, given their confidence right now.
wendyredredrobin
As things stand, a win tomorrow would put us in the top 6. Wonder if Fam will start or come on from the bench? City in a play off spot and Sags in a relegation spot would make a great weekend
REDOXO
Taylor has done everything that could have been expected. He’s scored and contributed to all the moves that lead to goals. My thought is Taylor to start with Diédhiou coming on. However I wouldn’t rule out a deeper role for said Matt Taylor in the near future

Bristol Oil Services
It really doesn't matter one little bit where you are in the division in the first week of September. Not in the slightest. What does matter, is being top or second after Christmas, going into the New Year. Er.....
wendyredredrobin
So now Swansea have 3 more points, if we win by 1 goal we go 6th and if we win by 4 goals, we go 5th. 3 points will be good enough for me though, whatever the score. Mr Popodopolous
Blackburn will be far from easy. Seem to have started well, Mowbray will have them playing decent football and well organised. Their win v Brentford definitely an eye catching result, they'll be fancying their chances tomorrow IMO.
