Judda
I still don't know. Think fans are getting over excited about him but I'm not convinced YET... He hits a few great balls but some decision making and touches are terrible... personally still undecided on him.... Tin hat time!
Selred
Freeman used to be on the money from set pieces to be fair. I do get excited each time Eliasson gets his left foot onto the ball, wish we still had Djuric really.
cityal
I remember Mark Gavin being a very good crosser, but maybe time has turned him into a better player than he really was in my memory. That wing combination of dave smith (blistering pace) and gavin (guile and craft) is probably the best I can remember. In saying that I don't recall anyone curling the ball like Eliasson. His crosses seem very dangerous.

Other that the 2-1 in LJs first game (Ipswich?) they seemed to mostly be overhit and go for a goal kick.

No doubt people will say Tinman, but I'd rather attack Eliasson's crosses than Tinman's very accurate, but floaty ones. That bend and dip is amazing, and he's so consistent with them as well. It's scary to think his crossing will probably improve even more as he reaches his mid 20s and develops more power in that left peg. Back in the day Walshie and Dave Smith had decent delivery and going way back, Clive Whitehead used to put some beauties across the box. Tins and Micky Bell were none to shabby, nor Darren Barnard. downendcity
Gets the ball past the first defender - an increasing rarity, and not just at Bristol City!

Lew-T
It’s the dip that often catches defenders and goalkeepers by surprise, that’s his trick. It just causes chaos for defence to deal with and often leaves us with a big goal scoring opportunity. More of the same please.

He hit the cross from way out wide and put it perfectly on his nut. May be rose tints but wide players nowadays just don't seem to have the same crossing ability as the old fashioned, specialist wingers. Maybe they did less covering back then and practiced over and over hitting the big man's head so just got better at it. Or maybe my memory is just a bit biased. I loved that Gavin/Smith combination. At times it was like the ball was glued to Gavin’s boots as he beat players at will with his trickery. Smith was less skilful but seemed unstoppable once he was in full flow belting down that left wing. We were superb going forward that season and words fail me in trying to describe how good Bob Taylor was.

We had a little spell where Iain Ferguson was up front and he was a really clever foil for Bob Taylor, having been used to the Turner/Taylor combo. Great example of this was Sunday’s second goal. 1 yard into the box the ball was too high for their centre back to head (he tried), 2 yards inside the box Matty was chesting it to Watkins. Do you see the embedded tweet or a text link? I sometimes see a text link on my phone and if I click it it just disappears, I have found that if I long press the link and choose open in a new tab from the resulting context menu, the link works. Something to try if your scenario is similar.
