Taz
Booked 25, sent off 26. Knowing him he was probably sent off for arguing with the ref about the initial booking.

BobBobSuperBob
Heard that he says he doesn’t care about football Happy to build his property development business who he’s got into with some other ex City player who he met in a Bristol pub
wendyredredrobin
He realises that he is finished as a footballer and is simply getting frustrated trying to accept it. If only he had behaved professionally, worked hard and trained hard, he coyld have had a decent career. Another waste of talent I'm atraid and he will live the rest of his life ruin it ruing it. Sydneybcfc
Can't help but think that the likes of him and JET would smash it in some of the slower paced foreign leagues, there just isn't the place for those kinds of players anymore in the fast paced athletic English game. Sadly for them they're too comfortable in their respective cities to move even for an English club let alone a foreign one, so they'll just continue to squander their talent taking contracts whenever someone is stupid enough to offer them one. alexukhc
Read somewhere a while back he got purposely sent off in succession for Peterborough to force a move out, he’s moving on anyway, trying to get released, so he can find a club ASAP, get a pay out and move somewhere else I reckon, not sure on that contract mind
CyderInACan
I’m sure there’s a stat about 1/3rd of ex pro footballers being bankrupt within 5yrs. Most recently I think Carlton Cole a high, profile example. Sure it won’t happen to Tomlin though with his baseball cap business.

Ideal outcome for Tomlin is to get a pay off from Cardiff, plus a signing on fee with a new club

Mind you, these are football clubs we`re talking about - not known for their grasp of reality.

Don't think you can compare Tomlin to JET. Much rather have JET than Tomlin in the team. Tomlin too much up himself. JET more of a team player and appeared liked by the other team members. Pity it didnt workout for JET with us , but forever grateful that I got to see such a player in a City shirt who could get the fans to their feet.
