nickolas
Because he was quoted in the summer as needing leader, yet has purchased powder puff ‘nice’ footballers. No grit. No mettle. The buck stops with the guy in charge of the team. You can be unlucky in one match but the worry is that we seem to be ' unlucky ' in most of our recent matches. Numero Uno
Unless this winless run is addressed very quickly it’s one too many for me. Three seasons of prolonged winless runs in a row at our club plus two at his previous clubs will not give me hope he will ever be anything more than bang average.......at the very most. milo1111
The next couple of months will be interesting. The foundations are there now, with no win in 5, for one of his magic runs. The fixtures bar one or two look as favourable as you will get at this level. If we go from here to Xmas without an improvement only winning one or two games and becoming caught up in a dog fight he should get the Spanish archer. For Bob Diamond read Steve Lansdown, or maybe Mark Ashton. The head coach, whoever it is, doesn't have anything like the equivalent authority of Diamond. He is told what the strategy is and is expected to work within it.
When the river runs
I'm not calling for LJ's head at all, but who would you like to replace him with and who is realistic. Could we get Steve Bruce ? It's just not clicking for me. Need a striker and Cm or couple.

When the river runs
Need another, maybe two CM as Smith is out and a striker. Weimann started very well but now I feel we could have done more in the summer. Same goes for "inept" and "doesn't learn any lessons."
