We can't score goals anymore.

Early in the season everybody, especially people in Derby, were saying what a splendid job we were doing converting Weimann into a striker, who was scoring regularly at the rate of about one a game. City fans were looking forward to the return of Diedhiou and how much better we would do then.

What has happened since? A series of 0-0 and 0-1 scores despite dominating posession and a goal famine from Weimann.

What goals we have managed have come from the likes of Brownhill, Pack & Baker rather than our so-called strikers.

Something must change.

Weimann fed off Pack. Pack has stopped finding passes. We need someone else who can find a through ball from the middle of the park. The only fit one we have is Taylor.

Weimann and Diehdiou with Taylor behind them in front of four in midfield would perhaps help as the option now is Pack alone. It will make us narrow but we need a goal from somewhere.

Pack is off form. We lack much in the way of any creativity. The strikers are out of confidence because nothing much is coming their way. And add to that our central defenders & goalkeeper seem to have stopped communicating with each other.

We are well into another LJ winless run that will continue at least until we play Hill at home, and even then I am not sure that I really fancy our chances.

Little sign of much optimism amongst fans. Back to the Johnson "boom & bust" cycle. Midtable mediocrity at best...

Tbh though we haven't been scoring that many of late, we do hit the woodwork a lot.

Did Kelly not hit post first half? That goes in, totally different game. Think we've hit woodwork 6 times this season in Championship- luck, or something else?

Shots off target
