Supporters heading to this Saturday’s game against Bristol City should be aware of major roadworks on the A4 which will affect journey times to Griffin Park.

The Bees welcome Lee Johnson’s Play-Off chasing Robins to West London this weekend looking to extend our unbeaten home run to 13 games in league and cup.

There are currently weekend closures of the A4, in both directions, between Clayponds Avenue and Ealing Road. There is also one lane closed Eastbound between Boston Manor Road and Ealing Road. These closures will affect Saturday's game against Bristol City and our visit from Millwall on Saturday 3 November.

To get to Griffin Park, supporters heading East down the M4 are advised to come off at Junction 3 and use the A312 and A4, bearing in mind there may be more traffic than usual on this route. Those supporters using the North Circular or A4 from the North/Central London should exit at the Chiswick Roundabout and use the South Circular and A315 to approach Griffin Park via the Ealing Round.

There has also been a change to the Brook Road South Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) around Griffin Park. The midweek restrictions on parking are now in place from 10am to 12 noon and 6pm to 8pm. There is no change to the Saturday matchday restrictions which are in place between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on home Brentford matchdays.

We were on a coach ( not a supporters coach) from Bristol and got stuck in a load of traffic about an hour ago, everyone jumped off the coach and got the tube in from Park Royal. Think there must have been an accident but traffic at a stanstill near Hangar Tunnel
